Eglise Saint Pierre

Listed as a Historic Monument in 1996. It was built on a cemetery of funeral urns. It is a Romanesque building whose sculpted decoration dates from the second quarter of the 12th century. It was fortified in the 14th century. It is a long nave with a semicircular apse at each end. This very rare feature comes from the defensive function it has provided over the centuries. The oldest part, to the east (end of the 11th century) is crowned on the outside, under the current roof, with a series of sculpted modillions. It has a blind colonnade that has been restored. In the 13th and 14th centuries, this first short and massive building was enlarged.
