In the Landes, nature is everywhere, especially in protected sites because of their great ecological and landscape, such as the nature reserve of the Courant d’Huchet. The lake and river wind between the dunes covered with cork oaks before ending up at Moliets beach.

Next to Labenne, the Marais d’Orx is a site classified as a national nature reserve, where you can observe more than 250 species of birds. The Arjuzanx Reserve is the main wintering site for the grey crane in France, providing a magical sight with each migration. The Black Lake, near Seignosse, is a 52-hectare nature reserve accessible by trail, with a mysterious and bewitching atmosphere.
Finally, you can discover the Barthes de l’Adour, vast flood plains on either side of the river that shelter an unspoilt natural habitat, on foot, by bike or on horseback.
