Hommage à Léonard Cohen

Ten years after the Canadian poet’s passing, French artist H-Burns pays a tribute to Leonard Cohen that is both personal and collective, accompanied by a string quartet.

A singer-songwriter, H-Burns has been performing on music stages for nearly 20 years, guitar in hand. It was through folk-rock music that his warm, smooth voice first gained recognition, influenced by the legendary icons of the sixties, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
With “Burns on the Wire,” he pays tribute to Leonard Cohen with a selection of essential tracks that made his early albums such a success. He is accompanied by his friend, multi-instrumentalist and arranger Antoine Pinet.
For strings and vocals, he’ll be joined by the virtuoso women of the Stranger Quartet. Their clear, melodious, and penetrating voices will blend perfectly with H-Burns’s.
