Le Pas du Monde

In a form of ethereal poetry, these twenty-two acrobats create a sublime performance in which their bodies soar through the air to re-enchant life.

Following *M%F6bius* (presented in 2023), a production created in collaboration with Rachid Ouramdane, in which the collective reenacted the mysterious dance of starlings flying in the hundreds in a choreographed ballet, the XY collective now explores our relationship with life and the passage of time. Human pyramids representing towering mountains, swaying columns evoking the wind rustling through the trees, collapses reminiscent of melting glaciers... The movements flow together at breakneck speed with a virtuosity that has become their trademark, composing and deconstructing a landscape in perpetual evolution. The choral songs they have adapted for this production blend with the vibration of their bodies to transport us
