Stalls of fruit, vegetables, cheese… That’s the traditional Saturday morning market, like almost everywhere in France.
In the Landes, during the summer season, there are also night markets. You can find crafts: natural products, decoration, jewellery and clothes; regional products: “foie gras”, duck breast and poultry, floc, wine and Armagnac, “pastis Landais”…. Local products, to take home for the long evenings of next winter, or for less fortunate friends who stayed at home….
Between the illuminated tents, musicians and jugglers provide the entertainment with concerts and strolls. What a good evening to spend from Biscarrosse and Mimizan to Labenne or Labastide d’Armagnac.
