Site de Limac
The Limac site, which is part of the Marsan Urban Natural Park, used to be a place of social life for the commune. The wetland of Limac shelters a wash-house around which the inhabitants used to meet and get drinking water. You will find on the site, the Saint-Guirons fountain, a place of pilgrimage to the Ascension, is known for its water that would relieve rheumatism. Excavations have also uncovered a necropolis dating from the 7th century BC, the most important Iron Age necropolis found in Aquitaine, now closed by vegetation.
