Site de Castets
The Castets site, set up in 2016 as part of the Urban Natural Park of Marsan, helps us discover a little known part of the area’s history: motte-and-bailey castles, fortifications with a wooden or stone keep situated on a raised earthwork called a motte dating back to the medieval ages, built from the 10th century and often associated with the development of feudal society. Come and explore these castles and enjoy the richness of this natural wooded area.
