Pouy de Montsoué

This Roman observation post is the highest point of the whole Chalosse. In good weather you can see the Adour plain as well as the beginning of the sea of pines to the north and the Pyrenean chain to the south. A small pilgrimage path starting from a chapel at the bottom of the Pouy leads to a small oratory at the very top. It was particularly popular as a Way of the Cross before Easter.
