The diversity of the environment shelters a very rich fauna preserved in a quiet zone: avifauna (numerous migratory and sedentary birds), terrestrial fauna (species characteristic of this environment such as coypu, polecat, ... or rarer species such as otters) and aquatic fauna (study turtles),
calamitous toads...).

A pathway, punctuated by information panels and a sensory trail, allows the public to walk along the quiet zone and discover the site, particularly the lake of Cazères-sur-l'Adour.
