Welcome to our Landes, a forest planted by the hand of man, cultivated for its wood production and protected by all to make the most of it. Welcome to the south of the largest forest in Europe. Our territory Landes Atlantique Sud comprises 1 325 ha of forest essentially of maritime pines. More than 90% of the forest is privately owned and managed by the Office National des Forêts and some municipalities.
Today, the maritime pine forest is mainly cultivated for its wood production and feeds an important processing industry.
However, to live it daily, we keep a sentimental, loving and even visceral approach. It is for us, a visual, sound and odorant picture that we retain and that we share. Enjoy it, admire it from every angle, smell its air and, with us, take care of it.
