Site de détente du Ginx
At 7km from the town of Arue in the direction of Maillères, a pleasant road leads to the Ginx district. Ideal for cycling, it crosses a landscape slightly carved by small streams. On both sides, beautiful Landes farms are surrounded by their airial.
In Le Ginx, the relaxation site lives up to its name. In an old converted shed, an exhibition dedicated to rural life plunges the visitor into the past.
Picnic in the shelter of the courtyard, bowling (equipment available free of charge), fronton, fishing on the river bank (with a permit), it is the ideal stopover.
Push the door of the Romanesque church of Ginx, founded in the 17th century. It testifies to the antiquity of the village of Arue with its stones coming from the ancient quarry of Duraga where sarcophagi were made.
