Manoir de Tampouy

Historically interesting site. Strong house built with the permission of Aléonor of Comminges, Gaston Fébus' mother, in 1343. It allowed the lord to keep watch over the crossing of the Midou river. It is thought that member of the royal entourage stayed there when François I married Eleonor of Austria, sister of Charles V of Spain.
