Les croix de sauveté
Situated at spaced points around the church, these are 4 stone columns measuring 2.40 m, topped by a cross. These milestones marked the outline of a sauveté where inhabitants enjoyed protection and impunity. In the Catholic religion, these crosses were used in processions to ask for heaven?s protection and blessing for the harvest.
