Lavoir de la tannerie
Below Place Raymond-Poincaré, on the banks of the River Douze, is the Tannery washhouse (also known as the washhouse of the Fontaine de la Porte Campet).
The building was built in 1845 with stones from the Uchacq-et-Parentis quarry. Renovation and improvement work was carried out in 1868. Finally, in 1950, the washhouse was covered with a concrete slab that gives it the appearance it still has today.
