La Forêt d'Art Contemporain : Zoo de Sculptures, oeuvre n°12
Sculpture zoo. Laurent Le Deunff. Garein, 2014. Programming: Didier Arnaudet
The proposal is to design an indefinable place that borrows from other spaces linked to creation: the workshop, the storeroom, the collection, the exhibition. Laurent Le Deunff will use this space to store, collect and contextualize some of his works. He manages the activity to show a selection of pieces, in particular conditions and in various combinations, and to make his approach part of a constantly evolving offer. The works are not here to stay. They are passing through, waiting for other destinations. This renewal allows to maintain indeterminacy, surprise and thus curiosity. It is a place that welcomes and protects, encloses and designates. It is a cage. The spectator is outside and looks through the bars. Like in a zoo.
