By a kind of miraculous logic, this work has chosen, thanks to its various actors and witnesses, to borrow its original strength, bringing it, through its artwork form, a return of soul. Designed to invite the visitor to come and lay a desire of unknown nature at its centre, the Transcendental Bed uses the materials and carpentry techniques of the traditional house of the Grande Lande and is intended, through its complex assemblies and cutting lines, to be a tribute to 17th century carpentry. For Claire Roudenko-Bertin, materials and techniques have been re-informed by artistic thought.
