Graine de forêt - Centre de découverte de la forêt des Landes

Accompanied by a forest mediator, discover our forest environment. The tour begins with an introduction to the world's forests and the issues involved in protecting them, followed by an exploration of the little-known history of our forest, which has become the largest cultivated forest in Europe, and an introduction to maritime pine, its emblematic species.

The educational trail takes us through the forest?s hidden landscapes, and offers us some wonderful surprises. Between the fauna, flora and protected species, you can never take enough time to admire all the beauty of this natural environment. Two loops await you (4 km or 2.5 km), as well as unusual sites such as the Arboretum, a lush green setting where you can observe numerous tree species.
