Fontaine Saint-Clair
Poor eyesight, sore eyes? The Saint-Clair fountain is the miraculous fountain you need! Soak a handkerchief and dab your eyes. It is said that this fountain once flowed in the neighboring town of Labrit. It is also said that one day, a scoundrel made a very rude gesture to it. Then its waters rose in column with a shattering noise and the fountain went away through the countryside. Alerted by this din, the parish priest of Vert prayed to Saint-Clair to stop the fountain from running away. Since then, the fountain has stood on the right bank of the Bernin.
