Eglise Saint Jean Baptiste de Mézos
The 14th century church, built in local garluche (iron silicate) by the commanders of Malta, is listed as a Historic Monument.
The central nave (not demolished during the wars of religion), the garluche stone choir, the large pillars, the vaults and ribs, form a well-balanced architectural ensemble.
The backgammon coming from Bias by the coastal road passed through Mezos and could thus reach Dax.
In the interior is a reproduction of the Prague Child Jesus, which was donated by Poles at the end of the 20th century.
