Eglise Notre Dame

Notre-Dame church was built in the late 15th - early 16th century, a few dozen meters from the parish church of Saint-Martin. In the past, it was surrounded by civil buildings still visible on the Napoleonic cadastre, giving rise to various hypotheses: former priory ("moustier"), cemetery chapel, seigneurial chapel, reserved for "cagots" or pilgrims (place-dit "l'Houspitalet" given to a neighboring house).1985 saw the discovery of wall paintings in the choir, restored 4 years later. The north and east walls feature a procession of praying people, while the south wall is devoted to 2 scenes from Genesis: Original Sin and Expulsion from Paradise
