Eglise Notre-Dame
On the way to Santiago de Compostela, a pretty little church awaits you in Audignon. Its apse is entirely Romanesque. Its nave is flanked by two 15th - 16th century side aisles and a fortified bell tower-porch completes the ensemble. Inside, the presence of a delightful painted stone altarpiece in the English Gothic style makes it original. Romanesque capitals decorate both the interior and the exterior of the apse. Another originality: graffiti engraved in medieval times on the exterior walls of the apse.
