Eglise de Saint Leu
The reconstructed facade is quite original: it has a high wooden double door decorated with fine woodwork.
Inside, the monumental altar makes the reputation and the originality of this church. It is surrounded by columns from the cathedral of Bazas. These columns were brought around 1870 to Lencouacq by the Lubet-Descornes family and offered to the building.
On the altar is a gilded wooden Virgin dating from the 18th century. She carries a scepter as well as the naked Child Jesus with curly hair, holding a globe in his hands.
