Eglise de Maillas

Not far from the village of Maillas, the recently renovated Romanesque church has a beautiful golden stone façade with a three-bay bell tower-wall. Built in the 13th century, it was extended around 1500 with two side chapels and a third in the 16th century. It will be the only religious building around Roquefort spared by the wars of religion. Thus few modifications will take place later.
