Domaine Impérial de Solferino
Discover the old village of Solférino, with its alleyways of cottages and Ste Eugénie church, created by Napoleon III in 1863. Classified as a Remarkable Heritage Site.
As you stroll through the village, you'll discover its distinctive architecture, with the former town hall and school on either side of the "allée du Centenaire", the former presbytery and the craftsmen's houses with their canopies on cast-iron columns at the front. 4 other alleys are symmetrical to the allée du Centenaire, where cottages are built for farm workers.

Route: Follow the RD325 allée du Centenaire in the direction of Morcenx, then turn right on allée Schneider, then right on allée Impératrice Eugénie or allée Henri Crouzet, and return along the "voie douce".
