Cité des Forges
At the end of the 19th century, it's the beginning of an industrial period in Tarnos, situated closed to the river Adour.
Many workers comed from all over France, the factory was also behind the creation of a "village": La cité des Forges. The Church of Notre Dame des Forges, the school, the foreman's house and workers' homes still bear witness to this rather rare industrial past in the Landes.
