Arènes Henri Capdeville
The age-old tradition of running bulls in the streets of St Sever is the oldest (1457) according to the archives after Bayonne. The Morlanne bullring was built in 1932, replacing the wooden bullring of 1837. The Dacquois architect Pomade was chosen by the mayor Albert Larrède and Abel Crabos president of the festival committee. Oval in shape, adapted to both Landes races and bullfights, they make it possible to alternate these two shows. This makes them the liveliest arenas in Cap de Gascogne. They are also used for shows such as the Vasconiales.
