My passions: reading, music, history and gardening.
My walk: we will walk around the building (vegetation permitting) for an exterior visit during which I will present the architectural characteristics of the castle and the history of its construction. I will show pictures of the interior of the castle. I will also present the history of the Baylenx family until the sale of the castle and then I will talk about the following owners and inhabitants with its unexpected functions (field hospital, novitiate of the Jesuits of Loyola, seminary of the diocese, convent of Benedictine nuns, hiding place of the archives of Belgium during the German occupation...)
