JACQUES, palombière et course landaise, deux passions à partager!

My passions: dove hunting, rugby and the Landes race. The neo-ruralists have obscured the traditions of the Landes. As an elected official and a passionate person, I invite them to my pigeon coop or to a Landes race in order to erase preconceived ideas and to share our customs which make the soul of our Gabardan
My visit: the "palombière" is for me a place of meeting and conviviality, of reasoned hunting, and especially of reunion where parents and friends come to share some agape!
The Landes race is a pure tradition rooted in our villages since the 13th century. It is the confrontation between man and wild cattle. The hundred-year-old bullring in Gabarret is steeped in history and bears the name of the Barrère family, famous ganaderos and precursors of this art. This passion represents the party, the sharing and the conviviality.
