Bowling for three ("très" in Gascony) is a game of bowling practiced in the lower Adour valley, more commonly known as "bas Adour". They remained the main leisure activity there until the 1960s. Bowling game consisting of three aligned skittles with the help of a wooden ball.
The playing area: its central part is covered with rubber to absorb shocks, thus protecting the ball and limiting noise. Today it is more often referred to as "the back", "the stopper" or "the wall". This installation is very discreet, in the absence of the players and their equipment nothing indicates the use of this space.
