Plage Notre-Dame
"The peaceful"
Notre-Dame beach is the northernmost beach of the seaside resort of Capbreton, at the limit of Hossegor, in the Notre-Dame district. It is the only beach in Capbreton located north of the Boucarot pass. It often concentrates the nautical events because it is very extended.
Green surfing track par excellence at low tide, it welcomes all the surfing schools of Hossegor and Capbreton which initiate the beginners there. Family beach, it offers a beautiful stretch of sand and owes its name to the Virgin protector of the sailors of Capbreton. It is supervised in summer. A change of scenery is guaranteed on the terrace of the Toile Rouge.
Facilities : WC, showers, beach club, surf school, refreshment room and tea room.
In July and August, the beach is supervised and the bathing water is controlled every day.
