Plage du Cap de l'Homy

Accessible from Lit et Mixe by the D88 road for about 8 km, or by bike along the parallel cycle track, Cap de l'Homy is one of those rare seaside resorts on the ocean coast where the dune has remained untouched by construction. A site protected by the Office National des Forêts (ONF), locals and holidaymakers alike reach the beach by means of specially prepared paths. Behind the dune, the few buildings around the beach are the municipal campsite, two restaurants, a mini-market, a few seaside shops and a few rare houses.
Quiet and authentic, Cap de l'Homy is frequented all year round by locals, families, nature lovers, sportsmen and lazy people who come to recharge their batteries. This spot, overflowing with beauty and exposed to the swell, is a wonderful playground for board sports.
