In Escalans, in the heart of the Landes forest, stop off at this living eco-museum of the Landes race. The discovery and educational farm presents the breeding of cows raised in the wild and all the traditions associated with this Landes sport.
Visitors approach this star of our arenas in its natural environment by trailer. Breeder Jean Barrère shares his passion and his attachment to Landes Armagnac. Come and meet him in his Gascon world: a life-size barnyard with a henhouse perched on top, Gascon hens, Gascon pigs, Landes ewes, horses, geese, turkeys and goshawks.
Numerous activities take place on site: Landes race demonstrations, bullfighting games with Landes bulls in private arenas with covered stands.
