After Lévignacq, you will take the road to Linxe, still in the pines, and head for Saint-Michel-d'Escalus. Finally, return to Léon where you can rest on the edge of the pond and try a boat trip on the Courant d'Huchet and its nature reserve. Your itinerary

1

Step 1

From the start of the Rion-des-Landes bullring, we are already in touch with one of the most ancestral practices of the region: the Course Landaise, with the shows offered during local festivals by the cowboys, the spreaders and the jumpers. You will ride along roads lined with pine plantations, perfectly flat and on which the use of the derailleur will be reduced to almost nothing.
2

Step 2

After Laluque, you may have the opportunity to see the famous cows of the ganaderia Labat, hidden under the pines. Along the way, you will come across some asparagus fields, the Champiland factory which, as its name suggests, packages mushrooms such as ceps or chanterelles that you can pick up throughout the department, free-range chicken farms and, of course, duck farms that produce the excellent foie gras and confit that many city dwellers envy us!
3

Step 3

All this sweetness to the palate should not make you forget that you are approaching Lesperon where you will finally have the opportunity to get into your dancing gear to cross the two small hills that will take you to the centre of the village, at the foot of the 14th century church classified as a Historic Monument. Finally, after crossing the RN10 again, you will be back in Rion-des-Landes, where you can have a look at the former restaurant of the famous "Maïté" which made the reputation of the Landes cuisine.
