A Montfort-en-Chalosse, circuit de Gibret

This gorgeous, hilly route follows Chalosse’s Voie Verte greenway (an old railway track overlooking the Adour Valley). The panoramic views are particularly typical of the southern part of the Landes region. There is also an add-on loop you can take to explore the fortified town of Montfort-en-Chalosse and the fountain of 100 steps (actually, 150 steps to go up and down with a smile on your face!) to access the bamboo plantation and the wash house below.
