Welcome to the Chalosse area of the Landes. Here, in Gamarde-les-Bains, Jean-Pierre and his wife invite you to come for a holiday or spa trip, surrounded by nature. The self-catering cottage adjoins another, but each one has its own separate entrance and Internet access (for a fee). Take your bicycles or walking shoes to explore Chalosse’s Voie Verte greenway, heading all the way to Dax or Saint-Sever. Stock up on groceries at a local market, Fridays in Gamarde-les-Bains or Wednesdays in Montfort-en-Chalosse (where there are also shops, a walking tour to discover the fortified town, and the Chalosse Museum). A short distance away, the farms give off the delicious aromas of local products. Are you a spa-goer? The baths in Préchacq-les-Bains are about 9 kilometres away. Bonus: You will be right nearby the Chalosse greenway, 50 kilometres from the ocean and 18 kilometres from Dax.
