In Cassen, Sophie and Didier have a guest room for you at the farm, for a combination of relaxation and fine cuisine. The room has its own separate entrance. You will have breakfast in the family lounge, where a special space is set aside for you. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can walk just a few steps to the owners’ inn (and sample their duck breast stuffed with foie gras!). You can also take advantage of your stay to go on a tour of the farm and learn all about how fatty ducks are raised to make delicious foie gras. Your visit will offer a multitude of activities like hiking (hiking guide no. 4, sold at the Tourist Office in Montfort), cultural and entertaining visits (the Chalosse Museum in Montfort, Rouge Garance art gallery in Mugron, Poyaller Mill in Saint-Aubin and Maylis Abbey) and tastings (cooperative winery in Mugron). Bonus: The on-site inn and self-catering cottage.
