Château du Rau - Location n°2

Once upon a time, there was a château located at Gamarde-les-Bains in Chalosse, in the south of the Landes region. Dating from the 12th century, it is the oldest castle in the region. You'll find it at the end of a 250 m driveway lined with century-old lime trees. On site, Blandine and Mireille offer furnished gîtes for a minimum of 14 people. Less than 1 km away, take the access to the Voie Verte de Chalosse. One side leads to Hinx and Dax, the other to Montfort-en-Chalosse (Bastide and museum) and Mugron (Tèrra Aventura game, cellar and art gallery).
The terrace overlooks the large, shady, flower-filled park with its centuries-old trees. Numerous other outbuildings, including stables and a bread oven, complete the site. At the shared swimming pool, book your own activities (for a fee), such as aquagym or swimming lessons.
