Marché mensuel de Doazit

Every first Sunday of the month, the village of Doazit, in Chalosse (south of the Landes), offers you a market of local products on the church square. On the stalls: vegetables, eggs, cheese, beef, pork, chicken! As it is Sunday, treat yourself to Emma's cakes and why not also to a bottle of wine or beer from the Hagetmau cellar (alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume with moderation). In case of rain, go to the village hall.
Before going home, stop for a coffee at the association bar. It is open every Sunday morning. You will meet the doazitian associations who take turns to run it.
If you also want to discover the village and its surroundings, take the hiking trail, on foot or by bike (rando-guide n°4) and go to the abbey of Maylis.
