POINGS is a struggle to regain a sense of self. It's 5 moments in a toxic love story, from the meeting to the break-up, told from the point of view of a woman in a state of shock who's trying to make sense of what she's been through.
POINGS is a show about domestic violence, about control, about listening to one's limits, about consent. It's a show aimed particularly at teenagers and young adults.
The place of the body is at the heart of this danced musical score, in the rhythm that shakes up damaged landmarks, blurring directions, questioning our ability to become aware of, listen to and respect our own limits. Like a desire to say NO. Like a desire to have the choice to say YES.
