IT WAS SAID. IT WAS WRITTEN. IT WAS THE END. We had to come to terms with it. The Sheriffs had exploded under the blazing Italian sun, on a tour of squalid squats and squalid bars, far from the limelight that had been reserved for them in France. The twenty-first century was still a chimera, and the Sheriffs? name was now on the long list of bands we loved and would never see again.
But, as in the best sagas, it wasn't the end.
