The City of Ondres invites you to discover the remains of a former Atlantic Wall position during a guided tour dedicated to the history, architecture, and organization of this vast coastal defense system built during World War II.
Along the way, learn to recognize the different types of bunkers still visible, understand their role within the German defensive system, and decipher the many architectural details that bear witness to their use.
The tour will also explore the evolution of these structures up to the present day, as well as the challenges associated with preserving this particularly vulnerable historical heritage.

Open to everyone, this tour combines history, military architecture, and landscape interpretation to offer a fresh perspective on these iconic remnants of the Atlantic Wall.
