Festhéa

The Festhéa festival has existed for more than 30 years and allows any amateur theater company in France to present a show at the national level, after selections that take place in the different regions. This national festival takes place in All Saints' Day at L'Escale in St-Cyr-sur-Loire in front of a jury of professionals of the Living Arts where numerous awards will be given to the selected companies.
For the (former) Aquitaine, the selections take place every year at the cultural hall of the Alambic des Arts. At the end of the three days, the jury (composed of professionals and passionate amateurs) will elect the company that will represent our region. The quality of the shows, the meetings with passionate people make this event a must for theater lovers.
