Exposition empreintes capbretonnaises

Exhibition of xylographs by Hervé Cazaux from November 6 to January 3 at Capbreton's Maison de l'oralité et du patrimoine.
Hervé Cazaux uses wood engraving (xylography) to simplify forms. Using line and black and white, he gives force to places and memories. His works capture the soul of Capbreton's emblematic places: the pier, the Rio cinema, the Fanny slipway...

In each etching, architectural rigor mingles with poetic line. Between light and shadow, the artist engraves the sensitive identity of our seaside town.
