Exposition "Collections depuis 1807 : il était une fois… le musée de Borda »
Created by ACTA, this exhibition is based on over twenty years of historical, archaeological and experimental research.
A journey through the major stages in the life of a gladiator in the High Roman Empire, from entry into the school (ludus) to the end of his career.
Visitors pass through five areas, touching, manipulating and weighing the various outfits worn by these great sportsmen of antiquity. They can also exercise on training stakes.
In addition, some twenty interactive panels help visitors to understand the gladiatorial phenomenon, far from the usual clichés conveyed by cinema.
Guided tour Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and first Sundays of the month at 3pm.
