Balade au Trou de Madame

Jean-Pierre, passionate about the history of the thermal baths in Préchacq-les-Bains, leads you on a visit to the Trou de Madame in the heart of the Barthes. On the banks of the Adour, during this 1 kilometer walk, discover the 30° spring and the remains of the first thermal establishment of Préchacq-les-Bains, called the Trou de Madame. The legends about the reasons of such a name are well known. Jean-Pierre will tell you the anecdotes of this unusual and hidden place, which welcomed curists until 1963, as well as the virtues of this thermal water.
