"Welcome to Europe": a documentary film that gives a voice to those living in exile. Through the stories of Cyril and Yadullah, the film confronts preconceived ideas about immigration with the realities on the ground. A humane, non-militant investigation, followed by a debate with co-director Thomas Bornot. Organized by FRER
The film tells two stories: that of Cyril, grandson of a Spanish refugee, and that of Yadullah, a young Afghan who arrived in Paris after exile. Two eras, one question: how do we welcome those who arrive?
Come one, come all.
FRER is a citizens' association based in the Landes region of France. What does it do? Create encounters to recreate dialogue in rural areas, far from clashes and caricatures.
