Les Vergers de la Borde du Béguet

Les Vergers de la Borde du Béguet is a site made up of several orchards combining fruit trees (apples, pears, plums, peaches, etc.), most of which are old South-West varieties, with other plants to form fruit hedges.

The aim is to reacquire the knowledge needed to grow fruit trees in the very specific conditions of the Haute-Lande region, while respecting the environment (no phytosanitary treatments or chemical inputs).

Fruit produced on site and harvested in the surrounding area is processed and offered for sale.

The knowledge acquired is shared during training courses or offered in the form of services such as planting and pruning.

Plants propagated in excess for the needs of the site are offered for sale in a micro-nursery.
