Les arènes de Mugron avec Chantal LAMOLIE
On the outskirts of the town of Mugron, discover these beautiful, flower-filled 2500-seat Landes arenas built in 1911. Long before the arena was built, it was the site of Landes races. In the past, they were known as the "amphitheatre of the landaise race square". Built of Mugron stone and Angoulême stone, the arena has 400-seat covered stands. In summer, these arenas host Landes races on the occasion of local festivals. The unusual feature of these arenas is the house built into the surrounding wall.
The + : At the rear, enjoy a remarkable panorama of the Adour river and its barthes. You can go inside the arena, improvise on the ring as a spreader, or take refuge behind the talanquères.
