Playful competition in traditional Landes style

Organized annually by the Lions Club of Biscarrosse- Pays de Born to benefit its social and humanitarian projects.

Several categories of male and female competitors in different age brackets compete throughout the evening.

The aim is to beat the evening's record in each category, as well as records set in previous years.


Program 2025 :

The absolute record for all categories is 47.60 m for men and 36.40 m for women.

The competition is open to all, regardless of age or gender.
It consists of throwing 1 (or 2) calibrated Landes pine cones (the "Pigne") as far as possible onto a pelota court.
