Parc de la Lande
Imagined by the landscape architect Guillaume Laizé of the Bordeaux workshop Palimpseste in 2008, the Lande park, covering an area of about 4 hectares, will be created in 2010.
Many birds can be observed here, which come to feed on seeds and insects. The flowered fallows also contribute to the reception and the improvement of biodiversity. Insect hotels have been installed in the park, as well as an exhibition on the interest of insects and wild pollinators. Finally, a pond and a stream welcome wetland species (dragonflies, frogs...).
Some of the facilities include a green theatre, a children's play area and wooded areas have been created (birch, oak, copalms, beech, plane trees, fescue, mountain ash, maritime pine and parasol...).
